The plot of Shank 2 is based on the story of Shank, a former mafia assassin who must return to his dark past when the lives of those close to him are in danger. Expanding on the intuitive combat system and interface, Shank 2 continues Klei’s tradition of delivering easy-to-follow controls and breathtakingly beautiful visuals that make this game a leader in the 2D side-scroller genre. Shank 2 will also feature a new arcade-style co-op mode, in which players will have to destroy opponents together, using the features of the game environment and the ability to pick up new weapons in combat.
