Set new IMEI fastboot oem writeimei 123456789012347 this is a example write your own imei

Check IMEI
Verify that the IMEI has changed successfully run: fastboot getvar imei
which should show the actual IMEI of the device.

Note i already upload the file which is ad and fast boot installer so search it in my blog search bar download it from here without worry how to get that it has a easy installer and creat a short cut as well in which skip the step 1 just open the icon just search install drivers of your device by google ..enjoy best of luck...
is it necessary to root the phone?
ReplyDeletein some devices yes it is in old devices which have less security no need now it depends which device and os you are ruining in
Deletesome phone are secured to write imei or other operations some are network locked on some network when you make changes there firmware might crash or soft brick so thats the reason you should root for you own safety else a long procedure to install firmware again lock and unlock boot loader and root if you thing you phone isnt that hard so dont root just wrote imei

yes but when you have a rooted device and bootloader unlock you been able to write the imei file by all means
ReplyDeletein some casing yes in some no coz those devices which dont flash by fastboot cant let you change there imei like samsing note and s series they wont allow you while other which run and flash by fastboot like htc and mtk device they will allow you easily
